Direct PCR - Virus collection and transport system
The system consists of a storage tube, a transport medium and a nasopharyngeal swab. The medium is inactivated without the subsequent need for nucleic acid extraction. Contains protective agents, DNA and RNA are not significantly degraded within a few days. Can be used directly for PCR and RT-PCR experiments.
