KLoneus - S-FLC-Lambda - Tia Kit

Kit for determination of KLoneus® free light chains (FLC) in serum on routine biochemical analyzers. The kit includes a reagent, a calibrator and a control. Measurement of serum FLC levels and calculation of its ratio (free K/L), as well as determination of monoclonal FLC urinary excretion, are of important clinical importance, both from the diagnostic and prognostic point of view, in multiple pathological conditions. such as multiple myeloma, Waldenström's macroglobulinemia, AL amyloidosis, light chain deposition disease (LCDD) and generally in all monoclonal gammopathy. The importance of its determination lies not only in the detection of these pathologies, but also in its harmful effect on tissues and organs, especially on the kidneys, which is the cause of various clinical manifestations. Regular quantitative estimations, both in serum and urine, are also important to monitor and control the development of all pathologies in which FLCs are present. Applications for commonly used biochemical analyzers available (Advia®, Alinity C, AU®, Atellica™, cobas® C, Optilite®, Mindray and others).
