Fibronectin Rat
Rat plasma fibronectin is a high-purity 220 kDa glycoprotein essential for studies on tissue repair, embryogenesis, blood clotting, and cell adhesion. Present in two forms an insoluble extracellular matrix dimer and a soluble plasma dimer produced by hepatocytes fibronectin mediates critical cellular interactions by anchoring cells to collagen and proteoglycans. Elevated levels of plasma fibronectin are linked to severe coronary artery disease and an increased risk of venous thromboembolism (VTE), especially in males, making it a valuable biomarker for vascular disease research. This recombinant protein is ideal for applications in cardiovascular, hematology, and cell biology studies, supporting insights into atherothrombosis and cellular matrix dynamics. - 1mg
