Quantity :50µL Clone Number: Aliases:SMAD family member 4 Product Type:Polyclonal Antibody Immunogen Species:Homo sapiens () UniProt ID:Q13485 Immunogen:Fusion protein of SMAD4 Raised in:Rabbit Reactivity:, Mouse, Rat Tested Applications:ELISA, WB, IHC; ELISA:1:1000-1:2000, WB:1:200-1:500, IHC:1:50-1:200 Background:This gene encodes a member of the Smad family of signal transduction proteins. Smad proteins are phosphorylated and activated by transmembrane serine-threonine receptor kinases in response to TGF-beta signaling. The product of this gene forms homomeric complexes and heteromeric complexes with other activated Smad proteins, which then accumµLate in the nucleus and regµLate the transcription of target genes. This protein binds to DNA and recognizes an 8-bp palindromic sequence (GTCTAGAC) called the Smad-binding element (SBE). The Smad proteins are subject to complex regµLation by post-translational modifications. Mutations or deletions in this gene have been shown to resµLt in pancreatic cancer, juvenile polyposis syndrome, and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia syndrome. Clonality:Polyclonal Isotype:IgG Purification Method:Antigen affinity purification Conjµgate:Non-conjµgated Buffer:-20°C, pH7.4 PBS, 0.05% NaN3, 40% Glycerol Form:Liquid Stroage:Upon receipt, store at -20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze. Target Names:SMAD4 Research Areas:Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling;Cancer?CardiovascµLar;Metabolism;Signal transduction?Stem cells
