Recombinant Human IL-6 - 50 µg
Interleukin 6 (IL-6) is a multifunctional cytokine mainly produced by mononuclear macrophages, T cells, and B lymphocytes. It can promote the proliferation and differentiation of B cells and T cells, and enhance the cell activity of T cells, LAK cells, and NK cells.
As an autocrine growth factor, IL-6 regulates the growth of tumor cells both positively and negatively, that is, it can directly act on tumor cells but can also inhibit or promote tumor growth by affecting the host environment. Therefore, IL-6 plays an important role in immune response, acute phase reaction, and hematopoietic regulation.
Recombinant Human IL-6 is expressed by E. coli, and is produced with raw materials of pharmaceutical applicable level. The host protein residue, nucleic acid residue and common pathogens are strictly controlled, and the production and quality management procedures of the product comply with GMP regulations to ensure the traceability of the production process and all raw materials.
